Booking Conditions
Last updated: 23 June 2026
1. About these conditions
These conditions apply to travel arrangements we make for you. They are a provisional draft and the precise wording — including our legal role and any financial protection — must be confirmed by our solicitor before launch.
2. Our role
We plan and arrange tailor-made holidays and help coordinate stays, transport, guides and experiences with carefully chosen local suppliers. [Whether we act as agent for suppliers or as a package organiser, and the resulting responsibilities, to be confirmed legally.]
3. Enquiries, quotes and confirmation
An enquiry is not a booking. We will discuss your trip, send a written proposal and price, and only confirm arrangements once you accept in writing and any required payment is made. Prices are subject to availability and the season until confirmed.
4. Payments, changes and cancellations
[Deposit, balance due dates, and cancellation/amendment charges to be set out here once finalised.] If you need to change or cancel, suppliers’ own cancellation terms will usually apply, and some costs may be non-refundable.
5. Financial protection
Our holidays are not currently ATOL protected, and we do not currently provide ATOL or equivalent financial protection. We do not sell flights, and any flights you book are arranged separately and directly with the airline or your own agent. [If this changes, or if any package protection becomes applicable, this section will be updated accordingly.]
6. Travel insurance
We strongly recommend that all travellers take out comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical care, repatriation and personal belongings before travelling.
7. Passports, visas and health
You are responsible for holding a valid passport, the correct visa for India, and any required vaccinations or health precautions. We can offer general guidance, but requirements are your responsibility and you should check official sources.
8. Our liability
[Liability and supplier-responsibility wording to be confirmed legally.] We take care in selecting partners but are not responsible for the independent acts or omissions of third-party suppliers beyond our reasonable control, nor for events outside our control.
9. Complaints
If something is not right during your trip, please tell us and our local contact promptly so we can try to resolve it. Unresolved concerns can be raised with us afterwards at info@southernindiaholidays.com.
10. Governing law
[Governing law and jurisdiction to be confirmed by our solicitor.]
